​About Us

Ubuntu ( oo BOON too) is the concept that " I am what I am because of who we all are." What we do affects each other and that interconnection makes us become who we are.

Our gallery & gift shop features a changing selection of contemporary art and unique all occasion art gifts from local Wisconsin artists. We carry many smaller items that are ideal for gift-giving as well as decor for your home or office. We have a large selection of art greeting cards for sending or framing including many Fond du Lac scenes ideal for souvenirs. 

Each artist has their own unique style and together we make up Ubuntu Art Space.

We are located at the corner of Division & Marr Streets just two short blocks east of the intersection of Main & Division Streets in Fond du Lac, WI, just one block north of Thelma Sadoff Center of the Arts.  The name on our building is ​ Dánlann, a Gaelic word meaning art gallery or art space. 

The historical downtown Fond du Lac features many fine shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Many of the businesses feature local art at their establishments.

About Fond du Lac 
Fond du Lac is a great art destination spot in Wisconsin. In addition to our art galleries you will find art displayed at many of the local businesses. Our city makes a great central place to stay while discovering the many attractions within an hours drive away in any direction. We have great shopping, restaurants, attractions, and a beautiful historical downtown. 

Many of our talented local artists belong to art associations in Fond du Lac or other nearby areas. Ubuntu Art Space participates in numerous downtown and local community events including Sturgeon Spectacular, Chili Crawl, and Fondue Fest.  It's a fun way to see and meet the many artists. ​
